Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Tech Inpatient for a 13-week travel assignment. 40 hours per week with Day and Mid shifts, including every-other weekend. IV experience is required and a valid state license must be in hand before start.

Orientation hours total 16. Traveler will float within the hospital and may join on-call rotations as scheduled. Minimum of 2 years in a pharmacy specialty is required.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required.
• License: Valid state license in hand only.
• Certifications: Certified Registered, Registered, or Registered Trainee.
• Must-Have: IV experience required; orientation hours: 16

Responsibilities

• 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) with rotating 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Every other weekend, rotating between 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Participate in on-call rotation when scheduled for a 1st shift.
• Must be able to register with the state board of pharmacy prior to start date.
• Candidates will float within the hospital as needed.
• Must have supervisor references within the past 2 years.
• Background policy stipulates no previous license issues.
• Previous employees are ineligible to apply for a period of 1 year from term date.
• Traveler will be required to complete an additional background check and fingerprinting onsite on the first day.
• Results could potentially impact employment.
• Copy of certifications required in submission profile.
• Specific charting experience in preferred systems is advantageous.
