Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Certified Inpatient Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists in safe, accurate medication distribution for hospitalized patients. You will select, count, non-sterile compound, package, label, and deliver medications in a hospital setting.

You will work with pharmacy automation systems, maintain inventory, and follow safety protocols while growing through TriHealth's emphasis on learning and cross-training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPhT certification required on start.
• Must be registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• 1 year pharmacy experience required; 1-2 years preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy automation and computer applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications per protocols.
• Select, count, non-sterile compound, label, package, and deliver meds.
• Maintain inventory and operate pharmacy automation systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Document and report discrepancies; support accuracy checks.
