The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient to support pharmacists, prepare medications, and deliver them to nursing units. You will help with order entry, inventory, and record-keeping, ensuring secure, in-date medications and accurate charges.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma and preferred Certified Pharmacy Technician. Entry-level candidates (0–2 years) are welcome; position requires 40-hour weeks across shifts in a hospital

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Entry Level - 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare unit dose and intravenous medications for dispensing to patients.
• Make scheduled deliveries to appointed nursing units to deliver medications.
• Assist pharmacists with medication order entry into the pharmacy computer system.
• Maintain stock levels of medications to avoid delays in service to patients.
• Keep appropriate records and documentation; submit patient charges/credits.
