Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 1 in Texas to support pharmacists with dispensing, inventory management and patient care under supervision. This entry-level position emphasizes accuracy in stocking, labeling and medication delivery within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; TX Pharmacy Tech license or intern license per TX Board.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred
• Pharmacy Technician certification per TX Board may be required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform limited pharmacy services incl. stocking, labeling, dispensing and delivery of medications.
• Assist patients and medical staff with questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff when needed.
• Assist with inventory control, ordering and receiving medications and supplies.
• Maintain pharmacy records and quality control tasks as directed.
