Howard Head Health, serving the Vail area, seeks an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for full-time, rotating shifts in an inpatient setting. The role supports daily pharmacy operations, aids in dispensing medications, and maintains inventory across Pyxis stations.

Responsibilities include filling orders, preparing IV admixtures, ordering stock, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Strong computer, typing, and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Provisional Colorado Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• Strong computer and typing skills.
• Must have working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders accurately and promptly, including Pyxis Medstations.
• Prepare IV admixtures or sterile preparations per policy.
• Lead in ordering drugs and supplies and manage stock levels.
• Repackage medications into unit doses and create bar-code labels.
• Monitor inventory control of controlled medications per regulations.
• Answer phones and interact with callers in a respectful manner.
• Attend departmental trainings and complete online learning modules.
• Complete inter-departmental billing by the 5th of each month.
