Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking an inpatient Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing exceptional patient service in our outpatient setting. You will support medication preparation, Pyxis operations, and prior authorization processes while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED, or a Pharmacy technician associate degree.
• Licensure: Arizona Pharmacy Technician License/Trainee License.
• Certification: PTCB National Technician Certification.
• Experience: 1+ years of previous work experience.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all work areas of the pharmacy to prepare medications and supplies for dispensing.
• Fill Pyxis machines and generate necessary reports.
• Expedite processing of prescriptions while adhering to policy and law.
• Assist pharmacists with preparation of medications for hospital discharge.
• Communicate with third party providers for eligibility and prior authorization.

Education
