Job summary

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a full-time state-certified pharmacy technician to join our inpatient team in Florence, SC. You will assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution, including IV chemotherapy and non-chem IV doses, and complete related documentation.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma, completion of a certified pharmacy technician program, and state certification. Hospital experience and sterile IV compounding are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college courses desirable but not required; successful completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program required
• Two or more years hospital or health system experience preferred
• State Certified Pharmacy Technician license/certification required

Responsibilities

• Assist with all pharmacy operations related to preparation and distribution of medications, including IV chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy IV doses.
• Complete medication-related documentation under pharmacist supervision.
• Support inpatient pharmacy services in a fast-paced hospital setting.
