Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Inpatient) for the Dayshift at South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights. The role involves supporting daily inpatient pharmacy operations, working as part of a team of technicians and pharmacists, and ensuring safe, accurate medication preparation and delivery.

Typical duties include Pyxis replenishment, IV room support, non-sterile and sterile compounding, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA.
• Active OBOP registration as CPT/Registered/Technician Trainee required at hire with 6-month upgrade deadline.
• Registration must be updated to CPT with OBOP within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to perform algebraic calculations for extemporaneous compounds.

Responsabilités

• Prepare medications by selecting, labeling, repacking, and non-sterile/sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations accurately and promptly.
• Maintain inventories and complete cycle counts and unit inspections.
• Keep a safe, clean work area and document regulatory requirements like temperature logs.
• Use information systems and automation to complete tasks.
• Assist with training of pharmacy caregivers and students.
