Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess active Registered Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida Board of Pharmacy (FBOP).
• Within 18 months of hire: obtain national CPhT certification (PTCB or NHA) and register as CPhT with the FBOP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications via non-sterile and sterile compounding, labeling and repacking.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory and conduct audits (cycle counts, unit inspections).
• Ensure a safe, clean work area and document regulatory requirements (temperature logs, trainings).
• Utilize information systems and automation to complete tasks.
• Assist with training of pharmacy caregivers and students.
