Job summary

SharpAtoms is seeking a supervisor-level pharmacist to join our hospital operations team in Seattle. The candidate must hold a Washington pharmacist license at hire and demonstrate leadership with direct reports in a 24/7 setting, plus experience in developing and maintaining clinical workflows with hospital and physician leadership.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of pharmacist experience, 3 years in leadership, and 2 years managing operational budgets.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in Washington required at hire; willing to obtain license if not already licensed.
• 5 years as Pharmacist, 2 years leading budgets, 3 years in leadership with direct reports.
• Completion of PGY1 or PGY2 residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient pharmacy operations in a 24/7 hospital setting.
• Oversee and develop clinical workflows with hospital and physician leadership.

Must-haves

• Pharmacist License (Washington) required at hire, therefore must be willing to obtain license if they don't already have one for WA. National Provider Identifier (NPI#)

Required Skills

• Experience in inpatient pharmacy operations, in an acute hospital setting. Experience in directly managing pharmacy staff. Working in a multi-disciplinary work environment including hospital and physician staff. Experience with developing, implementing, and updating clinical workflows

Preferred or Nice-to-have Skills

• Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 residency.
• Experience in working in a Union environment.
• Experience in working with Critical Care/ICU, Med-Surg, Infusion and Emergency Room/Urgent Care
• Experience with hospital expansion efforts

Years of Experience: 5yrs of experience as a Pharmacist 2yrs of managing operational/project budgets 3yrs in a leadership role with direct reports (having a solid line of reporting and having the ability to hire/fire)

Industry Experience: inpatient pharmacy, specifically in an acute hospital setting

Education Requirements: Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
