Large community healthcare system in Seattle is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead inpatient operations, support the ER, and guide medication-use policies during a period of growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in working in a Union environment.

• 5+ years as a pharmacist.
• 2+ years managing operational budgets.
• 3+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.

Job description

Large community healthcare system looking to bring on Pharmacy Manager! Sign On Bonus plus Full Relocation!

• Current size of inpatient beds is 15, only med-surg. Looking to double the med-surg beds and add a small critical care unit next year.
• Position will also support pharmacy needs for the Emergency Room, at the same location.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacist License (Washington) required at hire
• Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy operations, in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience in directly managing pharmacy staff. Working in a multi-disciplinary work environment including hospital and physician staff Experience with developing, implementing and updating clinical workflows
• Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 residency
• Experience in working in a Union environment Experience in working with Critical Care/ICU, Med-Surg, Infusion and Emergency Room/Urgent Care Experience with hospital expansion efforts
• 5yrs of experience as a pharmacist. 2yrs of managing operational/project budgets. 3yrs in a leadership role with direct reports (having a solid line of reporting and having the ability to hire/fire)
• Leadership experience in a hospital setting, which includes managing various levels of direct reports (Pharmacists, Interns, Pharmacy Technicians, etc.).
• Experience with developing, implementing and maintaining clinical workflows in collaboration with hospital and physician leadership
