Responsibilities

• The timely and appropriate distribution of drug therapy in compliance with state and federal laws and Kaiser policies.
• Effectively communicate with patients concerning their medications, including mechanism of action, adverse effects, dosing and storage.
• Assure 100% appropriateness of drug therapy under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Perform safety checks during dispensing and report any unusual occurrences.
