Job summary

Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend, WA is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist to join a tight-knit pharmacy team devoted to high-quality patient care. You will support inpatient operations, collaborate with care teams, and ensure accurate medication management.

The role emphasizes a strong clinical focus and compliance with safety standards, with flexible per diem scheduling (8-16 hr/week, Day shifts). A WA license and BLS are required; ACLS may be needed within twelve months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Current Washington State Pharmacy License in good standing.
• Current Washington State Pharmacy preceptor preferred.
• 5 years of hospital and/or retail pharmacy and clinical pharmacy preferred.
• Computer experience with pharmacy systems preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification (Inpatient) is required within one year of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support inpatient pharmacy operations for patients, staff and community.
• Provide clinical pharmacy support and medication management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other care team members.
• Maintain compliance with Jefferson Healthcare policies and safety protocols.
