Job summary

OU Health is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist II to provide advanced inpatient pharmacy services, including complex order verification, clinical assessment, and enhanced medication management. You will mentor Inpatient Pharmacist I staff, residents, and students while contributing to safety, quality, and cost optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
• Minimum 3 years of licensed pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced order verification with expanded clinical judgment.
• Oversee sterile and nonsterile compounding per USP/state/federal requirements.
• Lead medication distribution workflow optimization and safety initiatives.
• Provide advanced drug information and therapeutic alternatives to the care team.
• Mentor Inpatient Pharmacist I staff and students.
• Support IDS activities and investigational drug services as assigned.
