Specialty Medical Staffing is hiring a Hospital Pharmacist for inpatient coverage in Florence, SC. The role includes clinical support in a busy hospital setting, discharge counseling, and participation in training programs. Qualifications

• SC State Pharmacist license in good standing
• Knowledge of general hospital and clinical pharmacy practice
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Experience with EPIC is preferred
• Excellent communication for discharge counseling and medication reconciliation
• Clinical knowledge in antimicrobial stewardship and dosing management

Responsibilities

• Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.


• Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.


• Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.


• Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Position Requirements

• SC State Pharmacist license in good standing


• Knowledge of general hospital pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy practice


• Ability to work well in a team setting
