Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations.
• Hospital experience or residency preferred.
• License must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions to assure accuracy and proper ingredients.
• Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications and advise providers on therapy.
• Counsel patients on administration, expectations, and storage of medications.
