Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions to assure accuracy and needed ingredients.
• Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• In a retail/community setting, review and dispense prescriptions and non-prescription medications.
• Counsel patients on medication use and monitor therapy outcomes.
• Oversee pharmacy services and pharmacy support personnel.
