Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to provide inpatient pharmacy services at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in Fort Sam Houston, TX. The Pharmacist will review medication orders, verify prescriptions, prepare and dispense medications, and support safe and effective drug therapy with healthcare teams.

The department will establish shifts ranging from 8–12 hours with about 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited program.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience within the past 2 years.
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize drug therapy.
• Review orders, verify prescriptions, prepare and dispense medications.
• Perform advanced calculations for IV admixtures and complex nutrition.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and SOPs.
• Train pharmacy technicians and residents; participate in Code Responder duties.
