The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a licensed pharmacist with a Pharm.D. or a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to patient-centered care in an ambulatory oncology setting, with hospital pharmacy experience preferred. They will join an inpatient pharmacy team in a dynamic hospital environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to optimize outcomes

Qualifikationen

• Licensed pharmacist with Pharm.D. or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Six months hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Demonstrates accuracy, communication, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Reviews, clarifies, and processes medication orders accurately and timely.
• Considers disease state, BSA, patient factors, labs, and renal function for appropriateness.
• Uses clinical information systems to support pharmaceutical care (order entry, verification, distribution, reconciliation).
• Performs and documents therapeutic interventions and participates in safety/event reporting.
