Job summary

Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a qualified pharmacist to join the Inpatient Pharmacy team. Full-time rotating schedule across 1st and 2nd shifts with every other weekend, overseeing safe medication use and coordinating with clinical staff.

You must hold a current state pharmacist license and a PharmD (BS in Pharmacy acceptable with Doctorate preferred). Hospital experience and BLS/ACLS are favored.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
