Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a Per Diem role. You will assist the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the Pharmacy, with flexibility to cover shifts.

Flexible schedule, typically 2 shifts per week, Mon-Fri 7a-3p or 11a-7p, requiring high school diploma, PTCB within 6 months, and eligibility for state licensure. ASHP‑accredited training and prior pharmacy tech experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
• PTCB certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire date
• State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred
• 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility)

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred


• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required or obtained within 6 months of hire date (this requirement may be waived for current pharmacy students enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy)


• State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations)


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Graduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred


• 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility)

Saint Francis Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.62.
