Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations under supervision. Flexible availability required, with at least two shifts per week, Mon-Fri 7a-3p or 11a-7p.

Responsibilities include assisting the Pharmacist in daily activities and maintaining accuracy in medication preparation. Certification (PTCB) or progress toward certification is required within 6 months, with state license/registration as applicable.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required or obtained within 6 months

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred
• 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility)

1. Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred 2. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required or obtained within 6 months of hire date (this requirement may be waived for current pharmacy students enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy)3. State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations)4. High school diploma or equivalent5. Graduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred6. 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility)

Saint Francis Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.62.
