Job summary

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed as an occupational therapist in IL or WI (or both, if required).
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• NBCOT certification upon initial licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize exercises, manual techniques and modalities to improve function and independence.
• Maintain thorough electronic documentation and coding/billing records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to optimize outcomes.
• Mentor and train staff; participate in PI and CQI initiatives.
• Plan lectures and training programs for staff, students and community groups.
