Mercyhealth is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the Pediatric Outpatient team in Freeport, IL. The role covers evaluation, planning and implementing treatment plans for a range of pediatric diagnoses, with a 24-hour weekly schedule and daytime shifts.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited PT program, licensed in IL or WI if required, with CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire, committed to high-quality, team-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed as a physical therapist in WI, IL or both if required.
• CPR/BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Integrates subjective and objective data to establish a treatment plan.
• Utilizes exercise, physical agents, and manual techniques to address deficits.
• Maintains thorough documentation with appropriate coding and billing.
• Communicates with other disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes.
• Performs electronic documentation in a timely manner.
