Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - Psychology: Child/Adolescent in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a part-time Clinical Therapist for the inpatient pediatric unit. The role provides individual, family and group therapy, with collaboration across psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team.

Hours are 8 per week, including every other Saturday and Sunday. Licensure as LCSW/LCPC and an MA in SW or Psychology are required.

Qualifications

• MA degree in Social Work or Psychology
• LCSW or LCPC with the State of IL
• 2 years experience in a mental health or related setting
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and family systems

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy: individual, couple and family therapy using solution-focused brief therapy.
• Interviews, diagnoses, treatment planning with goals and timelines.
• Case management, outreach and aftercare services.
• Crisis counseling to stabilize patients and prevent harm.
• Develops and leads treatment or skills-building groups.
• Documentation and compliance with agency policies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team for patient progress
