Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is hiring Nursing Assistants to support patient care across inpatient units, including Med Surg, Float Pool, PCU and ICU. You will assist patients with activities of daily living under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Formación

• Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates ability to multitask under stressful situations and to communicate, collaborate and manage relationships with interdisciplinary team while maintaining patient/family centeredness and safety.
• BLS certification is included in orientation and required prior to first day in patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with delegated direct and indirect care tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Provide basic nursing care and assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and safety.
• Contribute to teamwork and communication with interdisciplinary staff to support nursing practice.
