Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking Nursing Assistants to support patient care across inpatient units including Med Surg, Float Pool, PCU and ICU. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with activities of daily living and basic nursing tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to multi-task under stressful situations.
• Keyboard experience preferred.
• BLS certification included in orientation program; successful completion required prior to first day in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Open positions are available across inpatient units (Med Surg, Float Pool, PCU, ICU).
• Nursing Assistant assists patients with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment.
