Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an inpatient PA or NP to join the Palliative Care Program at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. This 1.0 FTE role features 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to float to metro sites as needed.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and relevant licensure, with potential for occasional call or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and licensure as NP or PA required.
• Completion of accredited NP or PA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care as part of physician/nurse team in inpatient settings.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and determine diagnoses/treatments.
• Prescribe medications and therapies; educate patients on management of illness.
• Collaborate with hospital staff, consult with physicians when needed, and assist in care planning.
