Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner to join the inpatient General Medical Service team. You will support attending physicians, work with residents and medical students, and develop coordinated care plans addressing patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.

The role requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities, with commitment to ongoing learning and adherence to hospital values.

Qualifikationen

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of current literature and a commitment to continued learning is required.
• Experience as a member of the APP team in inpatient hospital settings is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with all teams in admission of inpatients to BWFH.
• Assist hospitalist and primary care attending physicians on daily rounds and plans of care.
• Write daily progress notes and implement physician instructions with nursing staff.
• Perform procedures within PA/NP scope and order/interpret labs and exams.
• Prepare sign-out to facilitate transitions between PA/NP or physician.
• Assist in planning and implementation of discharge planning.
