Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Boston seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the inpatient General Medical Service. You will work closely with hospitalists, residents and nurses to develop and coordinate plans of care that address physical, psychological and social needs of patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a graduate level, accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Board Certification by NCCPA/NPs is required.
• Massachusetts licensure to practice as PA/NP.
• ACLS certification by end of probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospitalist and primary care attendings on rounds.
• Write daily progress notes and implement orders.
• Order and interpret laboratory testing as directed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
• Provide sign-out communications to ensure smooth transitions.
