Qualifications

• Licensed/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment procedures under supervision of an OT.
• Determines patient need for services in collaboration with an OT.
• Communicates with patient and family to explain the treatment plan.
• Supervises use of equipment and ensures safety during treatment.
• Monitors patient response and reports any changes to the OT.
• Maintains documentation in patient records and follows billing guidelines.
• Reviews quality and efficiency of services delivered using QA criteria.
