Job summary

The Occupational Therapist (OTR) at Penn Medicine's Level I Trauma Center will provide comprehensive OT evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for a medically complex caseload. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to maximize functional independence and safe transitions of care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualified candidates hold a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and Pennsylvania licensure.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current PA occupational therapy licensure.
• Preference for acute care or inpatient rehab experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient history and determines goals and plan.
• Performs objective evaluations and documents results.
• Develops and implements OT treatment plans with physician input.
• Supervises OT assistants and aides as needed.
• Collaborates with family and treatment team for transitions of care.
• Maintains patient records and adheres to guidelines.
