Job summary

Corewell Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, organize, administer and evaluate direct patient care in alignment with the physician's treatment plan.

The role requires Michigan licensure as an Occupational Therapist, OTR certification, and BLS, with collaboration across the rehab team for optimal patient outcomes. A sign-on bonus is available up to $15,000, and a full-time schedule is provided at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited therapy program.
• OTR certification, Michigan licensure upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations to determine rehab potential and establish an individualized treatment plan.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments to maximize functional level per standards and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient's treatment plan and progress to the referring physician.
• Collaborate with rehab team to ensure high-quality care and continuous improvement of patient experience.
