Qualifications

• Work requires a Bachelor’s / Master’s or equivalent in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution by start date.
• Work requires a current Commonwealth of Massachusetts license by start date.
• Work requires a current AHA BLS CPR certification by start date.
• AOTA and MAOT membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive OT assessments and plans individual/group treatments to promote independence in daily living.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to arrange follow-up care and supports return to home/work environments.
• Educates patients and caregivers regarding evaluation findings and care recommendations.
• Establishes measurable treatment goals and adapts plans as patient status evolves.
• Completes area documentation accurately and maintains departmental standards.
