Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our clinical team on a PRN schedule. You will evaluate and re-evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, and educate patients and families within regulatory guidelines.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, be licensed or eligible for licensure, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational therapy preferred.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Licensure/certification requirements per certifying body.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans with goals and frequency.
• Documents progress accurately and timely in EMR.
• Educates patients and caregivers, including discharge planning.
• Discharges patients when benefit maximum is achieved per standards.
• Charges patients accurately and timely.
• Supervises OT assistants and rehab aides per regulations.
• Promotes safety and productivity within department guidelines.
