Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN Day shift. You will evaluate and re-evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress using clear, measurable terminology.

The role includes supervising OT assistants, adhering to safety standards, participating in quality initiatives, and engaging with the community; requires a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and OT licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows, and EMR systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, physicians, nurses, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using standard methods and standards.
• Develops, implements, and adapts individualized occupational therapy plans, including goal setting and discharge recommendations.
• Documents progress accurately using measurable terminology.
• Oversees OT assistants and rehab aides according to regulations and standards.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and supports quality standards.
• Engages with the community through education events to extend clinical expertise.
