HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time role (3 x 8-hour shifts/week) in Therapy Services. The position involves evaluation, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians and the care team to restore function and daily living skills for adults with physical disabilities.

Required: Bachelors in Occupational Therapy with a current Arizona OT license and BLS. Prior experience and capability to supervise assistants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university approved by the AOTA, prior to starting employment Required
• Masters or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university approved by the AOTA, prior to starting employment Preferred
• BLS Certification Required
• OT License Current license issued by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners in good standing, prior to starting employment Required

Responsabilités

• Implements an individualized treatment plan using evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Provides verbal and written instructions to patients, caregivers, and family members as needed.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the patient’s medical record and completes billing within timeframes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to discuss patient status and discharge planning.
• Supervises occupational therapy assistants and provides updated treatment plans and instruction.
