Job summary

PediaStaff is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a hospital-based inpatient role in Aberdeen, WA. Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with compensation ranging from $42–$56 per hour, based on experience.

New graduates are welcome and a $12,000 career bonus is described to support your early career growth. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing therapy plans, and delivering inpatient OT services to support recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, master's, or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Washington Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled inpatient occupational therapy services to support recovery, independence, and daily functioning.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions to meet changing needs and goals.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes.
• Assist with developing and implementing therapy programs.
• Present in-services and share clinical knowledge with fellow therapists.
• Help support the general operation of the therapy department.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as required by Washington state regulations.
