Job summary

Ascension Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita, KS is hiring an Occupational Therapist - Inpatient to evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive deficits, with a focus on restoring independence and quality of life.

You will design personalized care plans using advanced modalities, educate families for safe home transitions, and collaborate with the clinical team while guiding therapy assistants to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date required.
• OT credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire date required.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive deficits to restore independence and improve quality of life.
• Design and implement personalized care plans using advanced modalities to ensure effective recovery paths.
• Educate families and caregivers for safe home transitions and assist in ongoing care.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and oversee therapy assistants to maintain evidence-based practice.
