Ascension Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita, KS is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for an inpatient rehabilitation role. The position supports patient recovery through personalized treatment plans and is scheduled as Day Shift with PRN availability.

Qualifications

BLS Provider certificate required within 1 month of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
Certified Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (COTA) credentialed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts required prior to hire.

Responsabilités

Support patient recovery by implementing personalized treatment plans and using specialized therapeutic techniques to help individuals regain daily living skills.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress in real-time, collaborating with occupational therapists to adapt goals and ensure effective care paths.
Educate patients and families on physical limitations and proper use of adaptive equipment for safe home transition.
Document detailed patient progress and provide insights for discharge planning and community support.
