Methodist Rehabilitation in Jackson, MS is seeking an Inpatient Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative rehabilitation team focused on helping patients regain function and independence. You will develop individualized treatment plans, educate families, and coordinate care with PT, SLP, nursing, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Accredited OT program with current Mississippi license or eligibility.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in inpatient rehab preferred.
• American Red Cross BLS certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Establish appropriate therapy goals to improve function and independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Participate in regularly scheduled patient care-team conferences.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs.
• Educate patients and families to support transition home.
