Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with comprehensive histories and physical exams.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and readiness assessments.
• Order, collect, and interpret labs and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and other therapies per scope of practice.
• Coordinate inpatient care, discharge planning, and care transitions.
• Provide orthopedic inpatient rounding and collaboration with the care team.
