Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) continuously maintained; may onboard with AHA or Red Cross CPR and transition to AHA upon renewal.
• Advanced Specialty Courses (ASC) per Attachment A; completed within timeframes and maintained.
• National Certification in specialty within 4 years of hire date and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patient population using the nursing process.
• Plan and deliver effective patient care within Texas Nursing Practice Act and Driscoll Health System standards.
• Maintain competence according to service line requirements and organizational policies.
