Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland seeks a Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology to work at the center of interdisciplinary care, collaborating with prescribers and mentoring pharmacy staff in an in-patient hospital setting.

The role includes overseeing medication preparation/dispensing, providing clinical consultation on drug selection, dosing and interactions, and preventing medication-related problems through direct prescriber interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required.
• Current Registered Pharmacist licensure in the State of Maryland required.
• Experience in Oncology pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and dispensing of medications, perform medication order verification and computer entry in the pharmacy information system
• Provide clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on drug selection, dosing, and interactions
• Identify, recommend, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems through direct interventions with prescribers
