CHRISTUS Health Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a capable Registered Nurse for the medical-surgical unit, caring for ortho, oncology and med-surg patients. You will work independently within the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients, including those with cancer diagnoses and postoperative needs.

The role requires a Texas RN license (or compact), BLS, a BSN preferred, and about one year of related experience.

Competenze

• BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• BLS required
• RN license in state of employment or compact

Mansioni

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) for assigned patients
• Administers medications and treatments, monitors side effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or caregivers
