Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, PA, is recruiting two full-time daytime Solid Tumor Oncology Hospitalists to join UPMC Shadyside. The roles involve inpatient care of adults with solid tumor malignancies, 12-hour day shifts, and no overnight shifts, with coordination across outpatient oncology teams.

Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, hold an MD or DO, complete an IM residency, and be eligible for PA licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage hospitalized adults with solid tumor malignancies.
• Coordinate care with outpatient oncology teams and hand off to overnight team.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, APPs, nursing, pharmacy, and care teams.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic health record and participate in quality initiatives.
