Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Inpatient Occupational Therapist for PRN weekend coverage. You’ll evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and contribute to discharge planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Certified Occupational Therapist in Indiana (state license).
• Current CPR certification.
• New graduates welcome.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and home programs.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and hospital initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
