Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System (Indiana) seeks an Inpatient Occupational Therapist for a PRN weekend shift in Mishawaka, IN. You will evaluate patients, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver skilled therapy within a multidisciplinary team focused on recovery and independence.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists, document progress, educate families, and participate in quality initiatives. New grads are welcome to apply for this meaningful role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Certified Occupational Therapist in the State of Indiana.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and home programs.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and hospital initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
