LaborEdge, LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for rehab services on a 13-week contract. The OT will assess and treat patients, document in the EMR, and coordinate plans with physicians and the Rehab team.

Required are inpatient OT experience, an active Arkansas OT license, and BLS. The role includes supervising a COTA, ensuring safety, and contributing to department productivity while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifikationen

• Active AR OT license required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS required.
• Two supervisory reference forms within the last two years.
• Inpatient OT experience required.
• 13-week contract position.

Aufgaben

• Initiates patient care via evidence-based assessment and EMR documentation.
• Submits a detailed care plan within 24 hours of evaluation.
• Reports accurate treatment charges daily in EMR.
• Maintains treatment records, data, and patient schedules.
• Monitors progress and adjusts treatment plans or referrals as needed.
• Supervises COTA and provides education to enhance clinical skills.
• Safeguards equipment and ensures patient safety.
• Promotes positive behavior and hospital image.
• Supports Rehab Therapy productivity and operations.
• Maintains licensure knowledge and promotes OT field understanding.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
