Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Batesville, AR. The OT should have 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates) and must hold BLS and NBCOT-OTR licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of OT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR license required in state of practice.
• OTs should be able to stand/walk for long periods and have solid anatomy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living skills.
• Assess home/work environments and recommend improvements.
• Educate family and employer on care and accommodations.
• Document patient progress and complete timely billing/physician reporting.
• Perform tasks to help patients regain independence and participate in therapy.
